Serbia, Turkmenistan to cooperate in agricultural sector

Serbia and Turkmenistan intend to cooperate in agricultural sector, the national channel Altin Asir reported on July 8, Serbian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Elitsi Kuryak (with a residence in Moscow) said while presenting his credentials to Turkmen Parliamentary Speaker Akja Nurberdiyeva. 

The diplomat conveyed Serbian President Boris Tadich's greetings and best regards to Turkmen President Gurbangulu Berdmuhammedov.

The sides showed mutual interest towards consolidation of international dialogue and stated presence of potential and capacity for effective cooperation. The sides also stressed the importance of trade and economic ties, especially in agriculture field.

Kuryak also initiated to hold Days of Serbian Movies in Turkmenistan and Days of Turkmen Movies in Serbia.

Nurberdiyeva spoke Kuryak about basic directions of Turkmen foreign and interior policy, as well as ongoing large-scale projects and programs in different fields of economy.
