The Partnership Protocol between AZRPOMO and Middle East Association (MEA) was signed on 18th of December 2009 by Adil Mammadov, AZPROMO Acting President and Michael Thomas, Director General of MEA.
Protocol assumes deepening of economic ties, as well as promotion of investments and development of cooperation between entrepreneurs of both countries.
"The document will positively affect the strengthening of the relations between business communuties of Azerbaijan and Great Britain"- said in the statement.
The MEA is an independent non-profit organization established in 1961. The main objective of the MEA is to assist in the promotion of trade and investment between the United Kingdom and Middle East countries, together with Turkey, Iran and the Arab speaking North African countries.
Among partners and members of MEA there are London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Trade Arabia, BP, Rolls-Royce, Chevron, Land Rover, HSBC Bank plc, Royal Bank of Scotland, Goldman Sachs Asset Management International.
