Azerbaijan, Baku, June 10 /Trend, N.Ismayilova/
An e-trade portal was established in Azerbaijan at the initiative of the Ministry of Economic Development and with technical assistance of German Society for Technical Cooperation (GTZ).
"The private sector share in GDP exceeds 80 percent, and this has been achieved only thanks to state support, which now continues, and new mechanisms are introduced within it. One such mechanism is this e-trade portal," Deputy Minister of Economic Development Sevinj Hasanova said at the presentation of the portal.
The portal www.b2b.az operates in three languages - Azeri, Russian and English. Entrepreneurs can post all information free of charge and the farmers in regions, who have no access to the Internet, can use its services at the regional offices of the Ministry and the National Fund for Entrepreneurship Development.
