Italy to invest in building iron processing plant in Iran

Iran and Italy have signed a contract worth 30 million euros to build a plant to process iron, deputy head of the Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province of Iran, Abdulhuseyn Nafiyan.

Iran and Italy have signed a contract worth 30 million euros to build a plant to process iron, deputy head of the Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province of Iran, Abdulhuseyn Nafiyan, Iranian MEHR news agency reported.

Nafiyan said the plant will be built in the Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province, adding that Italy is negotiating with more than 20 companies about investing in Iran and about its prospects.
"In Milan, we presented to Italian companies, 30 projects for investments in Iran. The total cost of these projects amounts to $4.5 billion," aid Nafiyan.

Italian companies were presented the prospects of investing in oil, gas, electric power stations, mines, hydroelectric power, tourism and cement production.
