Joint-stock Commercial Bank "Amrahbank" has headed five bank-leaders of exchange currency market in accordance with shares of transactions concluded by it, BBVB said today. Joint-stock Commercial Bank "AIB", International Bank of Azerbaijan, Joint-stock Commercial Bank "Xalq" and Joint-stock Commercial Bank "Pasha Bank" also included in the number of the leading dealers of organized currency market. In accordance with it below is the list of banks - the leading operators of exchange market of hard currency in December 2011*.

In total 13 banks have taken part in the trades of currency section of the BBVB in December 2011. In accounting month in "Bourse E-System of Trades" (BEST) 44 trading sessions are conducted and 50 transactions are registered. The total volume of trades of currency section in accounting month on USD/AZN has made 201,606 million manat or 256,590 million in dollar equivalent.
In comparison with indicators of November in accounting month the total volume of trades in currency section has increased on 128,910 million manat.
The average daily turnover in "Bourse E-System of Trades" on USD/AZN reached approximately $ 5,832 million, then that the average volume of each transaction has made $ 5,132 million.
Following the result of 2011 the total volume of the trades in currency section has made 1,010 billion manat.
Aggregate volume of the trades on US dollar in Bourse E-system of the Trades - BEST has made 993,549 mln. manat ($1,259 billion).
Volume of the trades on tool EUR/AZN in 2011 has made 16,336 million manat (14,410 million EUR).
Last year as a total in the BEST 484 trading sessions are spent, in which as a whole 23 banks have taken part.
Thus the US dollar average rate in consideration to manat has made in December 0,7857 manat for $1 compared to 0,7861 manat following the November results of current year.
