Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev expressed dissatisfaction with the insufficient workload of new businesses launched in the country last year.

"Only half of 225 companies launched in the first half of 2011 were working to 60 per cent capacity," Nazarbayev said on Tuesday.

He recalled that one year was given to the new businesses launched as part of the FIID state programme for the complete workload, but they are not near that level.

"It means that local mayors failed at their task, I pay attention to that and it is necessary to make decisions," he said.
