Kazakhstan’s trade turnover with EEU countries increases

The value of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) in January-December 2017 amounted to $17.3 billion, which is 25.9 percent more than in 2016, the Committee on Statistics of the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan said in a message.

The value exports from Kazakhstan to the EEU countries in the reporting period amounted to $5.1 billion (30.2 percent more than in the corresponding period of 2016), the value of imports amounted to $12.2 billion (24.1 percent more than in 2016).

Share of Russia in the total volume of Kazakhstan’s trade turnover with the countries of the EEU amounts to 92.1 percent, Kyrgyzstan - 4.4 percent, Belarus - 3.5 percent.
