Uzbek Uztekstilprom takes measures to increase exports to Egypt

Practical work has begun to increase the volume of supplies of products of textile enterprises of Uzbekistan to the Egyptian market, Trend reports with reference to the press service of Uztekstilprom.

Negotiations with representatives of the Egyptian company Octagon for Textile Industries (OTI) were held at the Uztekstilprom Association, in which employees of the Agency for Advertising and Marketing of Textile Products took part.

During the negotiations, Egyptian entrepreneurs highlighted the growing demand for Uzbek textile products in the Arab world. Entrepreneurs also recognized that serious attention is being paid to the quality of Uzbek cotton.

In turn, representatives of the Uztekstilprom Association provided detailed information on the efforts of the government of Uzbekistan aimed at developing the textile industry, investment potential, and advantages of the industry.

Following the talks, the parties expressed confidence in the further development and expansion of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation.

OTI was founded in 1990 as a textile trading company that currently specializes in the production of high quality textured nylon, polyester, and many other products. Its main activity is the production of menswear, womenswear, and underwear. Until now, the main raw materials have been purchased from India and Pakistan.
