Uzbekistan aims at close co-op with Azerbaijan in communications sphere

Uzbekistan aims in 2021 at close cooperation with Azerbaijan in the field of communications, Head of the Agency of Information and Mass Communications (AIMK) of Uzbekistan, Asadjon Khojayev, told Trend.

According to Khojayev, the interaction between the media of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan is actively developing.

"At the third meeting of the responsible ministers and high-ranking officials for information and media of the Turkic Council in Baku, we discussed issues of a closer form of cooperation - exchange of experience, mutual trips of experts, including trips of Azerbaijani experts to Uzbekistan, advanced training in national multimedia centers," he said.

Khojayev believes that on the basis of such a constant exchange of experience, it is possible to share the secrets of skill, experience in creating various news materials of an informational, cultural, historical nature.

The head of the agency stressed that Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan have a lot in common, especially the culture.

“Experience shows that if we focus on cultural diversity in the preparation of this kind of materials, it will be very interesting not only for ordinary users, readers, and TV viewers but also for young audiences. When creating this kind of materials, it should be taken into account that the created content should be interesting for youth audience as well," Khojayev said.
