The retail turnover of pharmaceutical products and medical supplies in Azerbaijan totaled 283.7 million manat ($166.9 million) from January through April 2021, Trend reports citing the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee.
Some 2.4 percent of the funds spent by the population accounted for pharmaceutical and medical products from January through April 2021, which is by 39.6 percent more compared to the same period of last year.
The average monthly retail trade turnover per capita from January through April 2021 amounted to 300.4 manat ($176.7).
The cost of products sold in retail trade centers in Azerbaijan amounted to 12.02 billion manat ($7.07 billion) from January through April 2021, which is 1.1 percent more than in the same period of last year.
