The National Virtual Space Center is drafting an instruction manual to use communication networks and the Internet of Things (IoT) in the Iranian auto industry, said the spokesman of the National Virtual Space Center, Trend reports citing IRNA.
Internet of Things (IoT) is a new chapter in information and communication technology and a practical field in the auto industry, Amir Khorakian noted.
Details of the instruction manual for installing Internet of Things (IoT) in vehicles will be announced after completing its legal stages, he indicated.
The draft will be submitted for initial approval in a meeting with the Supreme Council of Cyberspace, automakers, high commission of cyberspace regulation, managers of communication networks, he explained.
The implementation of the following document will develop the auto industry, car insurance, network parking service, increase car safety, provide certificates and repair services, online customs payment, and car-sharing.
