BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 11. The production of ready-to-use sedan cars of Iran Khodro and Saipa companies increased by 236 percent, during the first 80 days of the current Iranian year (March 21 through June 8, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Spokesman for the Iranian Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade Omid Ghalibaf said, Trend reports citing IRNA.
The spokesman said that the two Iranian companies manufactured a total of 121,482 passenger cars within the mentioned period.
“At the same time, the number of incomplete vehicle manufactured by the mentioned two carmakers decreased by 69 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year,” he added.
Ghalibaf noted that the two companies manufactured 39,198 incomplete vehicles for the reporting period.
