BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 3. Iran’s imports through the customs of Razavi Khorasan Province in the north-east of the country, increased by 22 percent in value and 47 percent in volume, during the first nine months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through December 21, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Chairman of the Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Razavi Khorasan Province Amir Reza Rajabi told IRNA, Trend reports.

According to Rajabi, 210,000 tons of goods worth $476 million were imported through the province's customs in 9 months.

The chairman added that cotton, mobile phones, rice, thread, beans, equipment, coffee, silk, and so on were the main imported goods through the customs of the province.

“The mentioned goods were mainly imported from India, the Netherlands, Hungary, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Philippines, France, Russia, Oman, Iraq, China, South Korea, Türkiye, Turkmenistan, Thailand, Taiwan, Tajikistan and Pakistan,” he said.
