BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 28. A total of 1.45 million tons of non-oil products worth over $970 million were exported from Iran’s Markazi Province in the center of the country, during the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through February 19, 2023), Director General of Markazi Province Customs Office, Alireza Sadeghifar told IRNA, Trend reports.
According to Sadeghifar, the province’s goods were exported to 88 countries, including Iraq, Afghanistan, Türkiye Pakistan and Russia.
The director general added that aluminum profiles and ingots, various hydrocarbons, chemicals and others were the main goods exported from the province in 11 months.
In general, Iran exported over 111 million tons of non-oil products worth $48.8 billion within the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022, through February 19, 2023). This is an increase of 12.2 percent in value, while a decrease of 1 percent in volume compared to the same period last Iranian year.
