The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has commissioned another gas station in the west of Ukraine - Lviv, the SOCAR Ukraine website reported on Wednesday.
According to the report, the new station is located on the Street Pikolov, 14, Lviv.
Also, preparation is underway to open a gas station in Odessa region. Overall, the total number of gas stations operating under SOCAR brand in Ukraine reached 33 units.
SOCAR Ukraine plans to increase the number of gas stations in Ukraine under SOCAR brand to 100 units in 2013.
The State Oil Company is the only producer of oil products in the country (it has two refineries on its balance sheet) and also owns petrol stations in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine and Romania. SOCAR possesses a network of petrol stations in Switzerland and is the co-owner of the largest Turkish petrochemical complex Petkim.
