The number of drilling rigs of the Baker Hughes company in the world amounted to 915 units in April 2020, which is 144 less compared to March 2020 (1,059 units), Trend reports referring to the report of the company.
In April 2020, the number of international drilling rigs declined by 147 units compared to April 2019 (1,062 units).
The number of offshore drilling rigs was 228 in April 2020, which is 16 units less compared to March 2020 (244), and 23 units less compared to April 2019 (251).
According to the report, the number of onshore drilling rigs amounted to 687 units in April 2020, which is 128 units less compared to March 2020, and 124 less compared to the same month of 2019.
The number of drilling rigs in the world amounted to 1,514 units in April 2020, which is 450 less compared to March 2020 (1,964), and 626 units less compared to the same month of 2019 (2,140).
The number of Baker Hughes rigs is the calculation of rigs that are actively researched or developed for oil or natural gas production in the US, Canada and international markets.
