Turkmenistan's oil, gas sector interests TOYO Engineering Corporation

Japanese TOYO Engineering Corporation is interested in Turkmenistan’s oil & gas, fertilizers & petrochemical sectors, the representative of the corporation told Trend.

In terms of company’s cooperation with Turkmenistan, the representative said that company has a good business partner to assist business development in Turkmenistan, without revealing the partner.

As it was reported earlier, LG International Corp and Hyundai Engineering as well as TOYO Engineering Corporation implemented the project to build the Kiyanly polymer plant in Turkmenistan that cost $3.4 billion.

“TOYO was in charge of Engineering & Procurement, Commissioning Supervision contractor,” said the representative about TOYO’s contribution to the implementation of this project.

The polyethylene and polypropylene manufactured at this plant is both exported as well as sent to the domestic market. The plant is supplied with equipment that was purchased in Japan, Korea, the US, Great Britain, Belgium, Germany, Denmark and other countries.

The representative pointed out that company might implement similar projects in the country, once the client decides expansion project and any other new plans.

TOYO Engineering Corporation was established on May 1, 1961. Company provides R&D support, design, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, technical assistance for industrial facilities: oil, gas, oil & gas development, petrochemicals, chemicals, water treatment, transportation systems, power generation, nuclear power, advanced production systems, pharmaceutical, fine chemical, distribution systems, biotechnology, environment and other.
