BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 12. Liquids output in Kazakhstan increased slightly by 3,000 barrels a day to average 1.99 million barrels a day in February, Trend reports citing OPEC Month Oil Market Report.

Crude production rose by 31,000 barrels a day m-o-m to average 1.63 million barrels a day, the highest output since April 2020.

Production of NGLs declined by 28,000 barrels a day m-o-m in February to average 0.36 million barrels a day.

Kazakhstan’s liquids supply forecast for 2021 is estimated to have averaged 1.84 million barrels a day, higher by 0.01 million barrels a day y-o-y.

For 2022, liquids supply is forecast to grow by 0.13 million barrels a day to average 1.96 million barrels a day, revised down by 29,000 barrels a day.

“The downward revision was necessitated by the disruption in the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) terminal in the Black Sea as of 21 March. The Kazakh Energy Ministry said it may have to cut crude and condensate production by about 320,000 barrels a day until the end of April, while repairs are being carried out at the terminal,” the report said.
