Foreign Vessel Concludes Work in Azerbaijani Section of Caspian

The Azerbaijani-Dutch Joint Venture Azeri-Fugro informed Trend that the exploration vessel Markab intends to conclude work in the Azerbaijani section of the Caspian Sea till the end of navigation (mid-November) in order to come out of the Caspian until the close up of the interior waters of Russia. The work will be finished by November 8.

Earlier, repairs of the diesel engines had been carried out on the vessel over 4 days. The vessel belongs to Fugro Company.

The vessel carries out survey in the Shah Deniz field, which targets exploration of engineering parameters of the soil. Generally, it is planned to drill 12 geo-technical wells with a definite part to be drilled in the depth of 30 meters and the next part - 150 meters.
