The Russian Security Code company jointly with Virtual Azerbaijan will soon start producing information security tools in Azerbaijan, deputy director of the Russian company for strategic and international projects Oleg Kravchuk told Trend.
According to Kravchuk, Security Code produces a large line of products in Russia, and deeper localization is planned in Azerbaijan.
"Azerbaijani state control bodies must trust our joint product. They should also have a clear understanding of the origin of all processes: programming language, cryptography and other nuances. In addition, our company will share its scientific developments with Virtual Azerbaijan, which will form and create a local product line based on them. In Azerbaijan, as well as in any state, there is something to protect, namely, enterprises, critical infrastructure, water and electricity supply, oil industry, etc. It is for these needs that we want to implement a joint product line in Azerbaijan," Kravchuk said.
He noted that these products will be both developed and produced in Azerbaijan.
"It is this initiative that will be the very foundation of trust for the country's regulatory authorities. They will be able to put forward their requirements for these products, monitor their implementation, which will give Azerbaijan new jobs and a school of information security," Kravchuk said.
The deputy director noted that the entire product line will also be oriented towards export to other countries.
"Azerbaijan maintains excellent relations with a number of states. We think that the countries of the Middle East, Asia, the markets of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Pakistan, Iran, India and the Arab states will show interest in Azerbaijani products," Kravchuk said.
