BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 18. Turkmen Turkmendemiryollary Agency (Turkmen Railways) has acquired 5 mainline freight locomotives produced at the Bryansk Machine-Building Plant in Russia, Trend reports citing Turkmenportal.
The locomotives are designed for operation in climatically difficult conditions on terrain with a complex route profile.
Bryansk Machine-Building Plant is part of the Transmashholding Group, the largest company in the Russian transport engineering market.
Furthermore, last year the Bryansk Machine-Building Plant built and shipped passenger and cargo locomotives to Turkmenistan.
