Azerbaijan increases electricity purchases from Iran in 1Q2025
From January through April 2025, Azerbaijan imported 21.7 million kWh of electricity from Iran. This marks a 3.2 percent increase in volume compared to the same period in 2024. The value of imports also rose by 3.2 percent, reaching $226,500.
