BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 15. Uzbekistan has shared data on the number of tourists from Central Asian states visiting the country in January 2023, Trend reports via the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
According to the committee, about 423,700 tourists visited Uzbekistan. This figure increased 2.5 times, compared to 2022.

Meanwhile, some 5.2 million tourists visited Uzbekistan from January through December 2022. This figure increased 2.8 times, compared to the relevant period in 2021.
Tourists from Russia (567,700 people), Türkiye (75,600 people), South Korea (19,900 people), Germany (17,700 people), India (16,800 people), Kazakhstan (15,511 people), Tajikistan (14,478 people), Kyrgyzstan (13, 569 people), the US (13,100 people), France (11,000 people), the UK (10,500 people), Italy (8,800 people), Spain (6,300 people), and China (5,400 people) visited Uzbekistan in 2022.
