The border commissioners will work on the Georgian borders. The interior minister has issued an order in this regard.
Its officers will be appointed commissioners in accordance with the order to implement state border policy for the regulation of issues related to the protection of the border, and the settlement of border incidents in certain areas of the border.
Areas of the state border, where commissioners will be appointed, will be determined by agreement with the border state.
The border police will implement the coordination of Commissioners' work meetings.
