Ministry: Turkish-Kyrgyz business forum to be held in Ankara

Ankara will host the Turkish-Kyrgyz business forum, where the sides will discuss issues of strengthening trade relations between the two countries, Trend reports referring to the Turkish Trade Ministry.

According to the ministry, the forum will be held in Ankara on Nov. 22, 2019.

The forum will be held with the participation of Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay and First Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Kubatbek Boronov.

The export of goods from Turkey to Kyrgyzstan decreased by 1.61 percent and reached over $278.1 million in the first nine months of 2019, compared to the same period of 2018.

The export of goods from Turkey’s Istanbul and Ankara to Kyrgyzstan reached over $219.8 million from January through September 2019.

During this period, the export of goods from Istanbul to Kyrgyzstan decreased by 1.70 percent 9 compared to the same period of 2018 and reached over $213 million.

The export of goods from Ankara to Kyrgyzstan increased by 21.03 percent from January through September 2019 compared to the same period of 2018 and reached over $6.7 million.

The export of goods from Istanbul and Ankara to Kyrgyzstan reached over $33.9 million in September 2019.

In September 2019, the export of goods from Ankara to Kyrgyzstan reached over $2 million, which is 24.45 percent less compared to September 2018.

The export of goods from Istanbul to Kyrgyzstan in September 2019 increased by 27.79 percent compared to September 2018 and reached almost $31.9 million.
