The number of direct flights on the "Minsk-Baku-Minsk" route will reach three per week, Belarusian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Nikolai Patskevich said on Friday during a business meeting between both countries' businessmen.
"It is planned to increase the number of direct flights to three times a week from spring," Patskevich said.
At present, direct flights are carried out by Belarusian Airlines twice a week, Azerbaijani Airlines said. According to the schedule, the aircraft departs from Baku at 08:45 Baku time on Thursdays and Sundays.
According to the schedule posted on the official website of Belarusian Airlines, an additional flight will be carried out from March 28 that will depart from Minsk at 23:55 local time on Monday and arrive in Baku at 05:20 Baku time on Tuesday. The flight will return back to the Belarus capital at 06:20 Baku time.
Flights are carried out by Boeing-737 aircraft.
