Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani on Thursday called for national solidarity to take shape behind nuclear negotiations, IRNA reported.
He made the remarks in a ceremony to honour memory of martyrs -- mothers and spouses and war veterans in Qom.
He said that national solidarity and support of all groups and parties is essential for nuclear talks because Iran is currently engaged in an undeclared war, citing the sanctions against the Central Bank of Iran.
He noted that the European states imposed numerous sanctions on the Iranian nation but at last they acknowledged uranium enrichment as legitimate right thanks to resistance to bullying.
'We should not be deceived by the Western states. Perhaps they have changed their language but they will put pressure on Iranian nation wherever they can,' Larijani said.
Iran owes its resistance all times to the martyrs, he said, noting that if Iran can today resist to the bullying powers and put forward enrichment as its own right, they are due to sacrifices of the loved ones.
Meanwhile, the speaker said that terrorists have afflicted the region and created problems for the countries.
