During an opposition rally today in Baku, the law enforcement bodies have prevented a provocation, as one of the police officers responsible for security of the rally, told Trend.
Five people, who presented themselves as members of the martyr families, were chanting slogans, which had nothing to do with the rally, and also provoked other rally participants.
These people (four women and a man) were detained, after which it was revealed that they have no connection with the martyr families, and simply tried to stage a provocation at the held rally.
It should be reminded that the opposition-minded National Council of Azerbaijan held a sanctioned rally today in the courtyard of a driving school located at Elchin Azizov Street in a 20 residential area of Sabayil district of Baku.
