The State budget has to be revised in Milli Mejlis, MP, Jamil Hasanli told at the parliament meeting on April 7, Trend reports.
He said that additional finances have arrived into the budget as a result of oil and gas prices grow. Therefore, a necessity appears to increase the budget allocations to the different areas. In particular, it is necessary to revise the wages of the healthcare and education employees, which are particularly low, he said.
The education sector receives too few resources, he stated. $150 provided annually for each student, whereas in Georgia, which has much smaller budget allocates $250 per person a year, he said. I suggest to do the same here. Therefore the budget has to be revised, he concluded.
