Tbilisi subway traffic was restored after sappers removed an unknown packet. The packet caused evacuation of passengers and subway workers from Tbilisi subway station "Railway Square".

Tbilisi subway traffic was restored after sappers removed an unknown packet. The packet caused evacuation of passengers and subway workers from Tbilisi subway station "Railway Square".

After the evacuation, police chained the station with sappers quickly arriving in the place.

Soon after the arrival, the sappers appeared with a packet with a box inside it. They left not having told reporters whether the packet contained a bomb.

Passengers were evacuated after vigilant citizens told subway police that the packet had been left by an unknown person who hurried to leave the station.

Passengers and Tbilisi subway employees were evacuated from subway station "Railway Square" on Friday evening. An unknown plastic packet was discovered at the station, Tbilisi Mayor's Office told Trend earlier.
