Georgian president "practically eliminated" an opportunity of the Russian adventure against Georgia after meeting with U.S. Russian Presidents Barack Obama and Dmitriy Medvedev in London, Mikheil Saakashvili said during his visit to the USS KLARKING military ship on April 2.

The U.S. Navy military ship entered the Poti port two days ago. The ship's crew invited the Georgian president to lunch. The ship comprises 200 U.S. militaries. U.S. Ambassador to Georgia John Tefft accompanied the Georgian president.

"After the London meeting, the Russian military adventure has been practically excluded," Saakashvili said and stressed that Georgia will not be happy until the last occupant leave its territory.

The Georgian president also noted U.S. holds the highest level of relations toward Georgia. "I met with the U.S. Unified Staff Committee chairman and discussed issues to build new Georgian army. We do not have other alternatives, Georgia needs a powerful partner to remove the problems occurred in 2008," Saakashvili said.
