“It will not be difficult for Gala to win at Azerbaijani championship anew,” Rimas Kurtinays, the chief coach of the club, told Trend.
He admitted that the intrigue started at the championship due to rising of categories of the participants. “If earlier teams only run along playground and threw a ball into the basket, now they have attack and defense tactics. Nevertheless, basketball-players of Gala are rather, faster and stronger than others,” Kurtinays underlined.
At present Kurtinays marks Christmas with his family in Lithuania. His arrival to Baku is scheduled for the next round of the national championship.
