In June 2012, prices on primary housing market in Baku fell by 1.2 percent compared to the previous month and amounted to 810.4 manat per square meter, Property Market Participants public organization told Trend on Thursday.
"According to the previous quarter, prices fell by 1.3 percent, while compared to the same period of last year - by 3.2 percent," the organization's report says.
Compared to the crisis period (September 2008), primary housing decreased in price by 32.1 percent, while compared to early 2012 prices fell by 4.4 percent.
As in the previous month, in June 420 buildings were put on sale. Most of the buildings were social facilities building, construction of which occurred in the fourth zone. The number of construction companies also remained unchanged and amounted to 150.
Most new buildings in Baku are being built in Yasamal, Khatai and Nasimi districts.
