Iran launches several industrial enterprises in Razavi Khorasan Province

As many as 71 industrial enterprises were put into operation in the Razavi Khorasan Province (northeastern Iran) during the first two months of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through May 21, 2021), Chairman of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of the Razavi Khorasan Province Javad Khazaei said, Trend reports citing organization.

The chairman noted that a total of 3.11 trillion rials (about $74 million) has been spent on the launch of the enterprises and 1,150 people have been employed in result. The employment in the two months, increased by 12 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year.

“Among the enterprises put into operation within mentioned period, the enterprises producing chemicals had the largest share. So, 901 billion rials (about $21.4 million) has been spent on the launch of these enterprises, and the enterprises accounted for 28.9 percent of the total expenditures,” he added.

According to Khazaei, industrial enterprises receive a license for launch after the start of operations.

The chairman emphasized that the Razavi Khorasan Province ranked third in Iran in terms of the number of enterprises under operating.
