In August, Azerkimya Production Unit of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) plans to launch major repairs of its enterprises, SOCAR said on Friday.
At present, after inspection the technical state of facilities and equipment of various shops and enterprises that require repair is analyzed, and the mechanisms for restoration work based on the schedule of engineering deficiencies are clarified.
The "Ethylene-polyethylene" Plant has already received the equipment produced in Germany, Ukraine, Czech Republic and Russia, required to carry out work at "Polymir-120" installation. In turn, specialists of the Japanese company CHIODO will conduct inspection of turbines on steam unit.
Leading repair brigades of enterprises owned by the Production Unit will be involved in the repair work.
Upon the decree by the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev dated April 2, 2010 on improvement of management tools in the petrochemical industry, Azerkimya state company was transferred to ownership of SOCAR. At present, Azerkimya is part of SOCAR as a production unit.
