BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 4. A total of 28,500 tons of various hydrocarbon products will be on sale at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) on September 4, Trend reports.
According to the report, the products will be on sale on the domestic floor of the energy exchange.
The following goods are to be offered:
- Iranian Shazand Oil Refining Company’s 5,000 tons of CSO and 4,000 tons of solvent-402 products;
- South Pars Gas Company’s approximately 3,800 tons of gas condensate;
- Abadan Oil Refining Company’s 4,000 tons of naphtha;
- Zagros Petrochemical Company’s 2,800 tons of methanol;
- Shiraz Petrochemical Company’s 1,700 tons of methanol;
- Iranol Oil Company’s 1,100 tons of heavy extracts (DAE-40);
- Tehran Oil Refining Company’s 1,000 tons of liquefied gas;
- Bushehr Petrochemical Company’s 1,000 tons of methanol;
- Fannavran Petrochemical Company’s 1,000 tons of methanol;
- Marjan Petrochemical Company’s 1,000 tons of methanol;
- Kaveh Methanol Company’s 2,800 tons of methanol;
- Shimibaft Petrochemical Company’s 600 tons of MTBE;
- Jam Petrochemical Company’s 400 tons of heavy distillate;
- Tabriz Petrochemical Company’s 150 tons of mazut, 150 tons of heavy distillate, 60 tons of pentane and 42 tons of liquid nitrogen products.
Meanwhile, total sales at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) were 40.8 trillion rials (about $98.8 million) during the last Iranian week (August 26 through August 30, 2023), representing a 25 percent increase from the previous week (August 19 through August 23, 2023).
Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) sells its products at the SANA exchange rate.
SANA system is a system introduced by the Central Bank of Iran to the currency exchange offices, where the price of 1 euro is 444,896 rials and the price of $1 is 412,869 rials.
The sale of hydrocarbon products at the Iran Energy Exchange is of great importance to the country’s economy. Through the energy exchange, Iran seeks to provide hydrocarbon products needed by local companies as well as increase exports.
