BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 21. More than 61,000 tons of various hydrocarbon products will be on sale at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) on February 21, Trend reports.
Of the mentioned volume, nearly 23,000 tons will be on sale on the domestic ring of the energy exchange.
The following goods are to be offered:
- Iranian Pars Petrochemical Company’s 5,000 tons of LPG, 506 tons of pentane plus;
- Persian Gulf Bid-Boland Gas Refining Company’s 4,000 tons of pentane and 400 tons of normal butane products;
- National Iranian Oil Company’s 3,800 tons of gas condensate;
- Tehran Oil Refining Company’s 3,000 tons of heavy naphtha, 2,000 tons of LPG and 1,410 tons of light naphtha products;
- Esfahan Oil Refining Company’s 712 tons of solvent-502, 712 tons of solvent-503, 500 tons of hexane, 360 tons of solvent-402, 180 tons of normal pentane, 178 tons of solvent-400 and 178 tons of solvent-410 products;
- Pasargad Steel Alloy Industries Company’s 40 tons of liquid nitrogen products.
Furthermore, 38,500 tons of products will be on sale on the Iran Energy Exchange's export ring:
- Iranian Bouali Sina Petrochemical Company’s 12,000 tons of Raffinate;
- Shazand Petrochemical Company’s 10,000 tons of pyrolysis gasoline;
- Abadan Oil Refining Company’s 10,000 tons of LPG;
- Bistoon Petrochemical Company’s 5,000 tons of Raffinate;
- Fannavaran Petrochemical Company’s 1,000 tons of methanol;
- National Iranian Gas Company’s 500 tons of LPG products.
Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) sells its products at the SANA exchange rate.
SANA system is a currency exchange system implemented by the Central Bank of Iran in which the price of one euro is 464,110 rials and the price of one dollar is 429,203 rials.
The sale of hydrocarbons at the Iran Energy Exchange is critical to the country's economy. Iran hopes to enhance exports and give hydrocarbon products to local enterprises through energy exchange.
