The Azeriqas JSC intends to install 220,000 gas devices till late 2005, Nazim Samadzada, the deputy chairman of the Azerigas, said.
“The 8 February decree of the Cabinet of Ministers envisages the installation of 120,000 gas devices. In accordance with estimation, we will be able to install 100,000 more devices. The purchase and installation of the devices will be carried out at expense of the Azerigas,” he noted.
Samadzada stressed that they will install 500,000 more devices in 2006 and complete the plan. Subscribers are interested in the installation of the devices and must address to the Azerigas to purchase gas device at their own expense.
The “Sanayechihaz” will provide the Azerigas with 90,000 G-2.5 and G-4gas devices. The Company proposed to supply the devices in the amount of $1,790m.
The Belarusian Belamo Company will deliver the first lot of G-6 gas devices to the Azerigas soon. The Company will provide the Azerigas with 30,000 devices under contract. The value of the contract comprised $840,000.
