At least five people, including three security personnel, were killed and another injured in ring terrorist attacks in Pakistan's southwest Balochistan province, local media reported late Thursday night, Trend reports citing Xinhua.
According to the reports, the first attack took place when unknown gunmen shot dead two miners in Khosat area of Harnai district of Balochistan on Thursday.
Following the attack, a convoy of the Frontier Corps, a paramilitary force, rushed to the site and shifted bodies of the deceased miners to a hospital.
One of the vehicles of the Frontier Corps was hit by a roadside bomb blast when it was returning from the site. Three security personnel aboard were killed on the spot while another was wounded.
An improvised explosive device was planted on the roadside and it was detonated with a remote-controlled device, the reports said.
Security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation in the region. No group has claimed the attacks yet.
It was the third bomb attack in different areas of Pakistan during the last two days.
Earlier on Wednesday, at least 10 people, including five police commandos, were killed in a suicide bomb attack in the country's eastern city of Lahore. A few hours after the Lahore attack, a roadside blast hit a private vehicle killing a tribal elder and his two guards in Qilla Abdullah district of Balochistan.
