Total amount of the products loaded and unloaded at Iranian ports has increased by 14 percent in a period of one month between May 21 and June 20 as compared to the same time last year.
According to the latest statistics by Iran’s Ports and Maritime Organization, in the mentioned period, 22.5 million tons of oil and non-oil products were loaded and unloaded at about 28 ports across the country.
The statistics also suggests that the volume of the non-oil products (loaded and unloaded) decreased by 9 percent, while the figure for oil products hiked by 32 percent.
In the mentioned period, 17.8 million tons of oil and non-oil products were loaded at the country’s ports.
The figure for loading the oil products in the mentioned period is 12.8 million tons.
According to the statistics, 1.8 million tons of oil products have been unloaded in the mentioned period.
Iran also unloaded 2.8 million tons of non-oil products at its ports over the past month.
