Iran, Kazakhstan to increase passenger air flights

Head of Kazakhstan State Aviation Organization Begin Kanalovic said on Wednesday that capacity of passenger air flights between Iran and his country will increase in accordance with a bilateral agreement as of January 16, IRNA reported.

'According to the agreement the weekly flights between the two countries will increase from three to fourteen,' he said at the end of the 3rd Tehran 2015 Caspian Sea Transportation Ministers Conference.

The 3rd Tehran 2015 Caspian Sea Transportation Ministers Conference was held on December 21-23 in the presence of representatives from Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan and of course the host country, Iran.

The previous two Caspian Sea meetings were held in 2013 and 2014 respectively in Baku, Azerbaijan and Astrakhan, Russia.
