Brussels will host the eleventh meeting of the Georgia-EU Cooperation Council.
A Georgian delegation led by Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze will be unable to attend today's meeting due to the incident with the Lufthansa aircraft in Tbilisi yesterday, the Georgian Foreign Ministry told Trend.
Georgian Ambassador to the EU Salome Samadashvili will represent the country at the event.
Samadashvili said the meeting will address issues of cooperation between Georgia and the EU.
"The meeting will focus on the Georgian president's peace initiative on the non-use of force to restore territorial integrity, which he announced during a speech before the European parliament and the OSCE summit," she said.
A Tbilisi-Munich flight was forced to return to Tbilisi due to a technical failures this week.
