An original drawing by Picasso "Don Quixote" was accidentally discovered by art critics in a Georgian family in Tbilisi.
Art critic Lali Lebanidze paid attention to a drawing by Picasso in one family, the newspaper Kviris palette reported.
According to a family member, it was a copy of "Don Quixote" sent from abroad by a relative.
The drawing of the artist was considered lost. It was painted in August 1955 for a French literary magazine upon poet Louis Aragon's order. This issue was entirely devoted to the works of Cervantes. A drawing by Picasso was published on the last page. Graphic design became very popular, and the original was lost.
Georgian arts critics are going to create a special commission to study the findings and validate its authenticity.
