The new director general of 'Rompetrol Georgia', Serik Salikov has taken office.
Serik Salikov has worked with Rompetrol Group since June 2013 and served as Rompetrol Georgia's first deputy director general, before being appointed to the new position, the company said.
Before moving to Georgia, Salikov, for over 20 years held senior positions in the oil and gas industry companies in CIS countries.
He also has the work and management experience in the construction industry.
"It is the ninth year that Rompetrol has been steadily and successfully developing in the Georgian market. We will adhere to this path - we will expand and update the station network, improve service, provide consumers with high quality European fuel," Salikov said.
Prior to staff changes Rompetrol Georgia was managed by Nurken Murzagaliyev.
The transnational company Rompetrol is one of the largest fuel suppliers in the Georgian market.
Rompetrol Group's head office is located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
It includes around 50 companies in the world.
Rompetrol Georgia sells five types of European fuel in the Georgian market: three types of gasoline - Euro Regular, Efix Euro Premium, Efix S and two types of diesel fuel - Efix Euro Diesel and Euro Diesel.
