BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 8. Azerbaijan's Kapital Bank has no plans to open bank branches abroad in the next three years, said Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors at Kapital Bank OJSC Farid Huseynov, Trend reports.

He made the remark during a press conference dedicated to the results of the year and strategy for 2024-2026.

“However, our international relations with banks operating in foreign countries continue,” he noted.

Kapital Bank expects net profit of 200 million manat ($117.6 million) at the end of this year.

The bank's assets were 8.5 billion manat ($4.99 billion) as of October 1, 2023, according to financial indicators for the third quarter of 2023. The bank's loan portfolio totaled four billion manat ($2.35 billion), while client deposits totaled 6.5 billion manat ($3.8 billion).

Moreover, Kapital Bank's total capital after tax was 792 million manat ($465.8 million) as of October 1, 2023, and ordinary and preferred shares were 265 million manat ($155.8 million), with a net profit of 182 million manat ($107 million).
