Appointing representatives of the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry to other countries and international organization will be coordinated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
These changes are instructed by the Azerbaijani President's decree on appointment of representatives of the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry to foreign countries and international organizations on provision of their activities, dated 12 June 2006.
Representatives of the Interior Ministry appointed to foreign countries and international organizations will function at the diplomatic missions of Azerbaijan.
Earlier, officials of the Interior Ministry were appointed to foreign countries and international organizations by the Interior Ministry.
The Ministry has its representatives in Georgia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Russia.
