Georgia, Tbilisi, 5 November / Trend , corr. N.Kirtskhalia /A new Democratic Party of Georgia was founded. Giya Tsagareishvili and Giya Tortladze are the founders of the new party.
The party's presentation was held before the Parliament on 5 November. "We offer a new party which is consist of political and non-political parts - Public Committee," Tortladze, the Chairman of the Democratic Party, said.
The Committee will unite economists, lawyers, representatives from the agriculture sphere, social, sports and cultural areas, as well. The famous scientist Shota Nadirashvili will head the Committee.
"Any decision will be made on the ground of recommendations by specialists occupied in this sphere," Tortladze said.
Party will be of right-wing character. The meeting will be held to the end of the year. Democratic party will be financed thanks to donation, Tortladze added.
