Leader of Georgian Labor Party holds meetings in Paris

Georgian Labor Party leader Shalva Natelashvili, who is on working visit to Europe, met with the leader of ruling party in French Senate Anri De Rankur on Feb. 6.

Natelashvili also met with director of the European department of the French Foreign Ministry Roland Golorag and representative of Cabinet of Foreign Minister Isabel Dymo, the Labor party said.

"Natelashvili familiarized them with detailed information on Georgia's hard political situation. He thanked French President and Foreign Minister for peace mission during August war. He also asked France to support in Georgian upcoming elections only under control and aegis of the EU," the Party said.

Political repressions continue in Georgia. Prisons are full of political prisoners, Natelashvili said.
