The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry was conferred a power on considering the administrative penalty cases under the decree of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the Azertaj state information agency reported.
The Decree, issued due to implementation of the President's Decree dated Dec. 2, 2008 on introduction of changes to the Decree dated Aug. 29, 2000 on application of law on confirmation coming into effect the Administrative Penalty Code of the Azerbaijani Republic and issues on legal regulation, says that the foreign minister, deputy foreign minister, head of the counsel, Azerbaijani ambassadors abroad and officials of diplomatic representative offices and counsels will consider the cases on administrative penalties envisaged in the Article 331 of the Administrative Penalty Code.
