A silent protest was organized in front of Georian parliament in memory of victims of dispersal of the rally on May 26.

It was attended by several thousand people who protested against the excessive use of force by police during the crackdown of the peaceful demonstration on May 26 in front of the Parliament of Georgia.

Initially the action began at the monument of Rustaveli, where were 500 people. Then they marched to the parliament and the way they were joined by people. They blocked traffic on Rustaveli avenue.

Participated in the action and policies, among which were Alasania, Levan Gachechiladze, Koka Guntsadze and others.

However, the politicians and not given to make a statement. The action participants stood in silence and occasionally clapping in support of each other.

They paid tribute to the dead during the crackdown.

Participants of the action requires a public commission investigation into the acceleration and excessive use of force, the release of illegally detained. They also require the authorities to give the exact number of dead and injured.

Rally dispersed peacefully, and its members intend to meet again tomorrow with a 15.00 near the monument of Rustaveli.
